WMG was tasked by longtime client Sesame Street to create a partnership with a globally recognized specialty retailer. The focus of the partnership was multifaceted; 1. To drive revenue for Sesame, 2. To drive broader awareness, 3. To donate to The Yellow Feather Fund. Gap was the ideal partner given the retailer’s global footprint and strong kids/baby business. WMG secured full creative control for Gap within Sesame’s guidelines for usage of characters. The collection debuted online at Gap.com first, followed by in-store a few days later and was followed up with a large marketing campaign for used on Back To School in August of 2022.
