Prabal Gurung – Case-Mate

WMG, on behalf of our client Prabal Gurung, identified the proper phone accessories partner to work with. Case-Mate, focused on being the ‘fashion phone case’, needed a designer known for print and color to work with to create a collection of mobile accessories and WMG, understanding the aesthetics of Prabal, knew it was the right fit. The first collection, which will be a global launch with AT&T, and which immediately took the designs (the colors, movements and messages), will be launching in conjunction with the iPhone 11 in September 2019. In addition, the cases will launch with Nordstrom as the ‘fashion retailer’. The opportunity, beyond creating beautiful products, has far reaching meaning for Prabal Gurung. The AT&T launch will introduce Prabal’s brand on a global level to a new consumer… the future Prabal Gurung customer.
Prabal retains FULL approval and creative control over the cases, and works closely with Case-Mate’s design and production team on aesthetics and materials being used. Prabal will showcase the accessories on his September 2019 runway, as well as implement a unique content strategy to tell his story with Case-Mate and beyond.
