Esteemed fashion designer Naeem Khan has always had a desire to write an art book chronicling his elaborate work. Spurred on by this concept, Cole began by identifying the appropriate publisher. After long discussions with Naeem, WMG advised him to broaden his perspective and craft a fuller and richer manuscript. The book will focus on Naeem’s family history and dedication to embroidery in the fashion space. Once written and published, the book will be distributed throughout all of Rizzoli’s owned stores as well as wholesale accounts. The publication will be launched at Bergdorf Goodman here in NYC. Due to the content and character of the book, the distribution strategy includes design schools and Universities.
